هدف – صنعت ۴٫۰ یکی از مهمترین موضوعات تحقیقاتی است که توجه پژوهشگران و کارشناسان را به خود جلب کرده است. بسیاری از پژوهش ها با توجه به صنعت ۴٫۰ منتشر شده است، اما هیچ پژوهشی در زمینه ی صنعت ۴٫۰ که به وضوح زنجیره تامین را مفهوم سازی کند ، وجود ندارد. در این مقاله، اصطلاح “زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰” همراه با یک چارچوب مفهومی جدید ارائه شده است که ماهیت صنعت ۴٫۰ را در چارچوب زنجیره تامین بیان می کند. همانطور که صنعت ۴٫۰ به طور ذاتی یک تحول انقلابی است و به عنوان یک تحول انقلابی تکامل یافته است، هدف از این تحقیق بررسی تحول زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ از دیدگاه سطوح بالندگی است تا تدوین و توسعه استراتژی زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ را تسهیل کند.

طراحی، روش شناسی / رویکرد – به دنبال یک رویکرد تحقیق قیاسی و یک استراتژی کیفی، یک مرور ادبی نظام مند (SLR)  به عنوان روش تحقیق به منظور درک روابط میان زنجیره تامین، صنعت ۴٫۰ و بالندگی سطوح پژوهش ، اتخاذ شده است. سه فاز در فرایند SLR مورد استفاده قرار می گیرد: برنامه ریزی، رهبری و گزارشگری. یک تکنیک مفهوم گرا برای خروجی های SLR برای به دست آوردن سازه های کلیدی استفاده شد که توسعه چارچوب مفهومی زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ را تسهیل می کند.

یافته ها – SLR نشان داد که تحقیقات محدودی در مورد پیوند بین صنعت ۴٫۰ و زنجیره تامین وجود دارد. با این وجود، می توان مجموعه ای از دسته بندی های موضوعی را  از تجزیه و تحلیل مقالاتی که به سازه ها به عنوان هسته اصلی چارچوب مفهومی زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ رجوع کرده اند، استخراج کرد. این سازه ها حمایت های مدیریتی و توانمدی ها، اهرم های تکنولوژی، الزامات عملکرد فرایندها و خروجی های استراتژیک هستند. هر یک از این سازه ها شامل تعدادی اجزا است که در این تحقیق به عنوان “ابعاد” نامیده می شود و تمام ۲۱ بعد در طول این پژوهش شناسایی شده اند. SLR همچنین نشان داد که پیشنهادات بالندگی برای صنعت ۴٫۰ هنوز در مراحل اولیه و کاملا ناشناخته برای صنعت ۴٫۰ در زمینه زنجیره تامین می باشد. از این رو، این تحقیق، یک چارچوب سطوح بالندگی را ایجاد می کند که بر اساس سازه های اصلی زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ و ابعاد مربوطه پشتیبانی می شود. این چارچوب پیشنهادی به صورت مفهومی ارائه می شود، همچنین این تحقیق چندین مسیر تحقیقاتی را برای کمک به تقویت مفهوم زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ شناسایی و پیشنهاد می کند.

اصالت / ارزش – SLR شکاف بارزی در ادبیات را در رابطه با صنعت ۴٫۰ در زمینه زنجیره تامین و در چارچوب سطوح بالندگی صنعت ۴٫۰ برای زنجیره تامین نشان می دهد. این تحقیق بدلیل تدوین و معرفی چارچوب جدیدی که این شکاف را مسدود میکند، منحصر به فرد است. ارزش این تحقیق در این است که سهم قابل توجهی در درک زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ با ایجاد مجموعه ای شفاف از سازه ها و ابعاد که تشکیل دهنده ی زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ هستند،دارد، و پایه های کارِ بیشتر در این زمینه را فراهم می کند.

پیامدها / محدودیت های تحقیق – این پژوهش استدلال می کند که چارچوب ها قوی هستند، زیرا سازه ها و ابعاد دارای پایه ی محکمی در ادبیات هستند، بنابراین ارتباط و ارزش تئوری و عملی  را نشان می دهند.همانطور که تحقیق در زمینه زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ هنوز در دوران رشد خود است، طیف وسیعی از سوالات تحقیق باز بر اساس چارچوب ها، که می تواند به عنوان رهنمود برای محققان برای توسعه  مفهوم زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰  در آینده  باشد، وجود دارد. همچنین، کارشناسان می توانند از این چارچوب برای توسعه درک بهتر زنجیره تامین ۴٫۰ استفاده کنند و قادر به ارزیابی بالندگی سازمان هایشان باشند. همانطور که چارچوب پیشنهادی مفهومی است، آنها نیاز به تحقیقات تجربی بیشتری برای اعتبار سنجی و به دست آوردن بینش جدید دارند.

Abstract                                                                                       

Purpose – Industry 4.0 is one of the most emergent research topics attracting significant interest of researchers as well as practitioners. Many articles have been published with regards Industry 4.0 however there is no research that clearly conceptualizes Industry 4.0 in the context of supply chain. In this paper, the term “Supply Chain 4.0” is proposed together with a novel conceptual framework that captures the essence of Industry 4.0 within the supply chain context. As Industry 4.0 is inherently a revolution, and as revolutions are evolutionary, this research also aims to capture the evolution of Supply Chain 4.0 from maturity levels perspective to facilitate the formulation and development of Supply Chain 4.0 strategy.

Design, methodology/ approach – Following a deductive research approach and a qualitative strategy, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was adopted as the research method seeking to understand the relationships amongst supply chain, industry 4.0 and maturity levels research. The three phases of the SLR process utilized are: planning, conducting and reporting. A concept-oriented technique was applied to the outputs of the SLR to obtain the key constructs that would facilitate the development of the conceptual Supply Chain 4.0 framework.

Findings – The SLR showed that there is limited research linking Industry 4.0 to supply chain. Nevertheless, it was possible to extract a set of thematic categories from the analysis of the articles which are referred to as constructs as they form the core of the conceptual Supply Chain 4.0 framework. These constructs are Managerial & Capabilities Supporters, Technology Levers, Processes Performance Requirements and Strategic Outcomes. Each of these constructs consist of a number of elements which are referred to as ‘dimensions’ in this research and a total of twenty one (21) dimensions were identified during the SLR. The SLR also demonstrated that maturity propositions for Industry 4.0 are still embrionary and entirely missing for Industry 4.0 in the context of Supply Chain. Hence, this research develops and proposes a maturity levels framework that is underpinned by the core constructs of Supply Chain 4.0 and the corresponding dimensions. As these proposed frameworks are conceptual, this research also identifies and proposes several research directions to help fortify the Supply Chain 4.0 concept.

Originality/value – The SLR demonstrated a clear gap in literature with regards to Industry 4.0 in the context of Supply Chain, and also in the context of Industry 4.0 maturity levels for Supply Chain. This research is unique as it formulates and introduces novel frameworks that close these gaps in literature. The value of this research lies in the fact that it makes significant contribution in terms of understanding of Supply Chain 4.0 with a clear set of constructs and dimensions that form Supply Chain 4.0, which provides the foundation for further work in this area.

Research Implications/ limitations – This research argues that the frameworks are robust since the constructs and dimensions are grounded in literature thus demonstrating both theoretical and practical relevance and value. As Supply Chain 4.0 research is still in infancy, there are a range of open research questions suggested based on the frameworks that could serve as guides for researchers to further develop the Supply Chain 4.0 concept. Also, practitioners can use this framework in order to develop better understanding of Supply Chain 4.0 and be able to evaluate the maturity of their organizations. As the proposed frameworks are conceptual, they require further empirical research in other to validate them and obtain new insights.
